Submission of student ID cards

in case of the termination of student status or the modification of training

We would like to inform you that students whose student status is going to be terminated , who modify the training type must submit their student ID card to the study administrator at the time of the termination of the entitlement according to Government Decree 362/2011 (XII.30) on Education Related Identification Cards. (The related documents can be found below.)

It is considered an exception when the student establishes a new legal status with the same higher education institution after the termination of the student status entitling the student to use the card within the period of validity of the education card - and the data content on the card still corresponds to reality. (Section 13 point (5) of the Government Decree 362/2011. (XII.30.) no data (training) has been changed.) In this case the education card remains valid.

In the following, the transportation companies and other authorities will act in accordance with these legal requirements, in the case of the suspicion of an illegally used student ID card, a report is going to be made.

The student ID card must be delivered to the Registrar’s Office / Adult Education administrator in person or by post, after

·         31st March or

·         31st October

following the termination of student status.

 

Széchenyi University reports the termination of the validity of the card to the Educational Authority on the date(s) specified above, referring to the indicated legislation.

 

 

dismissal for academic, disciplinary reasons or due to non-payment

completion of studies with the pre-degree certificate but without the final examination

completion of studies by passing the final examination and obtaining a degree

transfer to another higher education institution

 

In case of the modification of the training, at the time of the enrollment to the new training, the student ID card must be submitted to the educaiton administrator and an application for a new student ID card must be initiated through the Neptun system.
