Information On The Registration For Spring Semester Of The Academic Year 2024/2025
Registration for the autumn semester of the academic year
Monday 08:00 AM January 20 and Saturday February 1, 2025
through the NEPTUN student information system using „Administration” menu.
During the Registration you must declare to continue your student status as active or passive student of the spring semester of the academic year 2024/25.
First day of spring semester is 3rd of February, 2025.
Attention!
You can taking up subject just in that case if your student status is active for the spring semester.
Based on § 41. of the Payment and Benefit Regulations not registering for a semester results in a fine of HUF 8000
Based on § 43 of the Education and Exam Regulations if a student fails to register for the semester it is automatically regarded as suspension of his/her student status. Suspension of student status is only possible for two consecutive semesters.
TVSz. 41.§
(1) From the second semester of the students’ studies he/she must register via the SIS by the end of the registration week of each academic semester, if they want to
- a) Continue their studies (current semester and as an active student) or
- b) Have a break in their studies (passive semester and as a passive student)
for the following semester.
(2) The registration to continue the studies can be only considered valid if the students
- a) Prepare their individual timetable for the given academic semester through the SIS and
- b) Don’t have any outstanding liabilities to pay to the University
over the provisions of paragraph (1).
(3) In the case where there is a lack of fulfilment of the provisions laid out in paragraph (2) the registration to continue the studies must be considered invalid and it must be disregarded and 43.§ paragraph (3) must be applied.

After the deadline of handing in student requests has expired the NEPTUN system does not allow the handing in of further student requests!
After the deadline of handing in student requests has expired no requests on paper or via email are accepted!
